How to Find the Best Makeup for Darker Skin Tones

There are many different shades of skin tones, and sometimes it's actually quite hard to find the perfect foundation match for your own complexion. Unfortunately, there are a lot of makeup brands that don't have a wider range of shades for people with darker skin tones to purchase. However here are a few really good brands you can look into!

MAC

MAC Cosmetics have plenty of foundation shades that will truly match your colour! They have C, N, W, NC and NW.
NC (neutral cool) have a yellow undertone for golden or beige skin, whereas NW (neutral warm) has pink undertones for pink beige skin. C (cool) would be used for yellow or olive complexions. N (neutral) is simply for beige skin and then W (warm) is for pinkish skin.
If you are not sure what skin tone you have, look at the veins under your skin in your forearm. People with pink skintones have very blue veins, and people with yellow skin tones tend towards greener veins.
 I advise you to go to your local MAC store and simply ask them to help find your shade for foundation. If not, you could also test a foundation on your jaw line to see if it's the perfect match.

What I love about Bobbi Brown foundations is that they come in amazing shades, especially for darker tones. They also always include an SPF in the foundation which is really good for your skin!
